At The Center For Black Male Mentoring, we are dedicated to empowering youth through innovative programs and community outreach.
Our goal is to educate, elevate, and empower our future leaders through substantive support and resources for local youth, their families, and our regional community, while providing a safe and supportive environment for young people to learn, grow, and thrive.
We offer a wide range of programs designed to meet the needs of youth in our community. From after-school activities to leadership development programs, we strive to provide opportunities that will help young people reach their full potential and become highly productive citizens, successful leaders, and positive role models for generations to come!
Our team is made up of dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people. We are committed to providing the highest quality programs, activities, and support to our youth and their families.

Minority Entrepreneurial Apprenticeship Program - This 9-month specialized program is a comprehensive and in-depth opportunity for 8th-11th grade students to be exposed to real estate development, business investing, and trade careers facilitated by successful mentors and industry experts. They will participate in all facets of the development and new construction of 17 upscale high tech, energy efficient homes in an up and coming local neighborhood.
Leadership Academy - 10-month program for 6th-12th grade students to learn leadership skills, life skills, and vital components of manhood, through group mentoring sessions, educational and cultural activities, and expert guest speaker series. Along with character building, students will learn a host of other topics including: health and wellness, cultural pride and awareness, conflict resolution, self-discipline and violence prevention, financial literacy, goal setting, higher education and/or
Official ASAP Chess, ASAP Debate, ASAP Scrabble Sites - our trained & dedicated coaches teach, train, and prepare 1st-12th grade students how to play and prepare for club, local, regional, and national tournaments while developing fundamental skills of focus, logic, strategy, critical thinking, vocabulary, public speaking, self expression, in many fun and exciting ways.
Young S.T.E.M. Robotics - introductory program for 1st - 6th grade students to learn and explore the exciting world of science and technology. Learn to build and control robots and drones, coding games, participate in fun and engaging experiments while learning important fundamentals of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics and how to apply them in their young life today and in the future.

Parent Academy - parents and guardians for 1st - 12th grade students learn ways to develop and sharpen their parenting skills, while helping their children navigate the ever-changing, fast-paced world and challenges today's youth face daily. For 10 months, through engaging and informative sessions facilitated by experienced experts, parents and guardians will learn methods and tools that will change the families of their families for generations to come.
Promise Program - a full scholarship to attend and graduate with a Bachelor Degree from Temple University is offered to any of our eligible students who are graduating high school senior attend a school in Philadelphia and residing in Philadelphia, regardless of their GPA or SAT or ACT scores. We will help our students prepare, apply and be accepted in the Temple University with a full scholarship
Adult Financial Literacy Session - Free educational sessions for adults to learn the fundamentals of financial literacy taught by licensed professionals, experienced experts, advisors, and community advocates with the shared sole mission to educate the community and improve the financial path for generations to come. Topics will included: banking, credit, retirement, insurance, healthcare, long term care, wills, estate planning and probate, taxes, stock market, auto and home purchases, credit,
Homeownership Program - parents and guardians for our students learn all aspects of buying a home as well as keeping and maintaining a home. Sessions will cover credit, mortgages, grants & loans, personal banking, basic financial literacy, insurance, maintenance, repairs, inspections, home buying, landlord and tenants and more. Conducted by experienced and professional licensed industry experts
